Description:
Shell small,
biconical; spire conical with concave sides, numerous low whorls; whorl outline
concave with posterior astragal; suture subcarinal; ornament shows four to five
spiral cords sseparated by narrower interspaces; astragal carries rounded
tubercles separated by interspaces equal to their own width; body whorl high,
with concave, narrow, posterior shoulder, bordered by rounded edge, below which
the whorl becomes inflated, then rapidly inclined inwards into long
concave-sided beak; of which the anterior one-third is crossed by a number of
oblique spiral cords increasing in strength posteriorly; growth lines show
concavity on shoulder, opisthocline on sides; aperture (not preserved), its

differs from Phasmaconus martini Shuto (1969, Pl.22, Figs, 7, 10) which
shows a narrower shell with a lower spire and wider shoulders without rounded
edges (1).
